Santorum has some ideas he really should keep to himself as far as federal policy goes (tripling the child tax deduction for one), but he has no problem explaining them and doesn't sound like a stumble**** retard if he doesn't have a script in front of him. I'd need underwear made of Space Shuttle tiles to post this at the DUmp but I agree with some of what he's said, at least from what I've seen on his MTP interviews.
If more married women left the workforce to take care of their children, it would be a net gain to society. It certainly can't make it any worse than it already is. It frees up jobs for others, provides a stable foundation for children's academic and personal growth, and future economic prospects and families aren't paying for two of everything, including taxes. Of course, DUmmies hear that and immediately leap to the most ridiculous conclusions they can conceive. But nobody likes having the government tell them what to do, whether it's Rick Santorum or Barack Obama. So... maybe Rick needs to focus on the important stuff and let people live their lives without his help.
