I’ve had it
I’ve had it with self-righteous fanatics who claim to be the “real American patriots.â€
I’ve had it with every Sunday morning roundtable dominated by three wingnuts to one sane person.
I’ve had it with the endless lies that are bought by those who can’t or won’t read, think, or reason.
I’ve had it with corporations who are milking us dry, paying for non-stop propaganda, and destroying our country.
I’ve had it with those who show up at town hall meetings in order to shut everyone up and shut the meeting down.
I’ve had it with bigots who can’t tolerate a black president, a Latina Supreme Court justice and any and all “Thems.â€
I’ve had it with “blue-dog†Democrats who are Republicans in Dem costumes.
I’ve had it with thugs who are called politicians, or lobbyists, or corporate titans.
I’ve had it with the cowardice of liberal politicians.
I’ve had it with not having one ******* clue as to what to do about any of these things.

1. The townhall crazies have a vote equal to everyone else
its worth remembering when we wonder why America doesn't do what we want.
It's worth remembering that for every Pedro Picasso, there's a franksolich to balance things out.

3. You have to admit, one day was very impressive.
Lots of bright enthusiastic people all going to the polls for one day to make American what they think it should be.
The rest of the days, not so much.

6. They may have A vote but that doesn't give them the right to deny to any one else access to information or an opportunity to ask questions. Their 'vote' lost and they need to accept that.
Too bad this administration isn't treating these town hall brown shirts the way we were treated by 'their' vote stealers,

2. Love the last line
I agree with most of your sentiments. But I was feeling the last line the whole time I was reading it.

4. Nice Guys do not win. I sound cynical, I say I am a realist.
Everyone assume the Liberals Progressives will just be nice and not cause any problems so they can be treated just any old way.
To watch all the hullabaloo, one would think the GOP won the election.
George Bush won. Twice. George Bush is a nice guy.

7. I've had it with people claiming to defend a constitution they have never read.
I've had it with the cries about what the "founding fathers" would have done from people who couldn't name three of them.
So.....one assumes the above primitive's had it with Skins's island?

8. First, stop watching television.
Everything you see on TV is usually available on the net somewhere. I prefer to read rather than watch TV or youtube. I find it leads to a beneficial lowering of blood pressure.
After that, you can make plans according to your personal tastes.
Me, I'm gradually going off-grid. I plan to ignore the impending train-wreck.
Uh, Pedro Picasso's not going to go for that.
