poll: should we have the "rec," "unrec," system here?

Well, we all know how well this "rec," "unrec," thing is working out on Skins's island.

If it were feasible (it's probably not, though, given the hardware), should we do the same thing here, to inspire levity and hilarity?

That  is sort of what the "bitch slap and H5" system was but it didn't let you know what post they were meant for.

I think it would be cool to be able to rec and unrec individual posts, sort of a more targeted "hi5" and "bs" program.  I really don't care if they are public or private.

I thought we had a thread-rating system in place, but I can't find it.  I know its an option for the board.

Naaa. Waste of time.. Really.

I read a lot of threads at CC - far more than I comment on. Sometimes its because its something I know nothing about, other times its something that doesn't really concern me either way. On rare instances do I find a thread that I think is deserving of an 'UnRec' - and most of the time its because the thread has been trolled beyond what I can tolerate. - The last time that happened here was with the thread polluted by Sam Adams. I said I was done with that thread, and I never posted in it again. I UnRec'd the thread by my actions (or lack thereof) and I feel that was good enough.

The thread goes bad, let it sink.
