What are they really afraid of?

It seems like the entire Republican Party needs to be in therapy. They are scared to death. But why?

Are they afraid of karma? That they may be punished for their actions and inactions of the last 8 years? That they sat on their sorry asses and never made a sound as their Party and their leaders, Bush and Cheney, destroyed this nation?

And now they worry about Obama making an "enemies list" when someone sends a email to the White House calling them on their paranoia and their fabrications. They now worry that we are going too far in debt, when just 8 years ago, we had a balanced budget and were running a surplus. They never had a problem when their Party doubled the national debt.

They yelled at Senator McCaskill's townhall yesterday that they did not "trust" her. They were ready to put a rope around Arlen Specter's neck. One of the protesters at his townhall was on TV this morning and said he did not trust Obama or Pelosi or Hoyer or Barney Frank. We are to assume he trusted Bush and Cheney and everyone in the Republican Party?

Are they afraid of the truth? That the American people will hold them accountable and that their propaganda will no longer be effective. Their lies are being exposed even as we speak.

It is becoming more and more obvious that they are not really concerned about healthcare that much. Their questions at the townhalls are usually about another subject entirely, most likely something they have heard on talk radio? They fear being in the minority. They fear they will have to answer for their "sins". More than anything, they fear irrelevance.

1. part of the campaign, in panhandle of texas, really had people argue obama was going to use discrimination on all of us to pay us white folks back. as stupid, stupid, stupid, that argument is, people truly believed it in this area. i imagine it has only escalated in fear.

Oh dear.

Frank, you forgot to mention that things were going rather well until the Dimrats took over congress in '06.

I didn't think of it at the time, but it's the message decent and civilized people HAVE to keep on reminding everybody; times were good until circa November 2006, after which the lines on all the charts and graphs swung downward.

One wonders what happened in November 2006, that caused that.

The Little Goons and moonbat types have to label all opposition with the "Fear" tag.  It's the only way to contain legitimate opposition and keep it smaller than they are.  The truth is too large for them to handle.
