PARIS — The main suspect in the Paris attacks said he was “not ashamed” in a letter to a woman who has been writing to him in prison, according to extracts published in the French press Friday.

Salah Abdeslam has refused to respond to questions from French judges about the November 13, 2015 attacks in which 130 people died at the hands of Islamic State group jihadists.

But in correspondence with an anonymous woman published by the daily newspaper Liberation he appeared “talkative for the first time,” the paper said.

There are women who write letters to this scumbag! These women are just as sick as the terrorist. They are killer groupies!  :mental:

Hopefully, the French rules for gathering evidence are fairly loose, and letters such as this can be used against him at his trial.

Indeed I would not expect him to be ashamed, I would expect the jihadi is proud, and only unhappy that he did not take more Westerners out before he was caught.  It's ridiculous to imagine he would say what he did was wrong, except to evade or minimize the secular consequences to himself.
