I am a REALIST, which I already knew.

the test is meant for chicks, though. :-)
Your Survivor Type: Realist
You know that life is hard so you face facts and do whatever is efficient and effective to achieve your goals.
-
Your Survivor Type: Fighter
You attack adversity with determination and grit. Tough, resilient, and never a quitter, you keep going when others give up.
I did LOL at the "wait for Obama to save me" answer. :rotf:

But wasn't the question about a friend who had breast cancer?
Surely you know some women with boobs?

I think all males will turn out to be "realists". it was a chick test; BEG fooled us into taking it. :-)

most all of them, in fact. :uhsure:
but I suspect a male reaction would be very different. we tend to protect/defend. y'all tend to want to share the pain.

It was fun to say I'd hit an assailant with my "bag."
:-)

Yeah, that's true.

exactly. we had to compensate. but, as males, we do that well. :innocent:
-
I'm surprised mine didn't say something like
"Grouchy Bastard." Guess that wasn't one of the possibilities.

If it was a test of males, I am sure that we would have both registered as "grouchy". :-)

I was hoping to there was one that said "Turn assailant's head into canoe with .45." I guess that was a little too much to ask.

Your Survivor Type: Thinker
You see problems clearly, using intelligence and creativity to
overcome adversity, relying on your brain to meet challenges.
Kind of like a husky sized McGyver. :-)
-
I'm also a "Thinker." ;)
Hey, I'm trained and certified in CPR, thank you very much! :p
-
Realist!

Hi YinG!

I'm also a "Thinker." ;)
Hey, I'm trained and certified in CPR, thank you very much! :p
interesting. what answers that you gave would have made you a "thinker"? do any stand out?
-
Realist!
only because "succubus " wasn't an option. :rotf: :rotf: :rotf:
I just kill myself sometimes.
-
Ya'll better stand behind me cuz I'm the only fighter so far. We're in deep shit. :-)
-

Well, the CPR one, for example. You have to think and work quickly in taking care of the patient if they are, for example, going into cardiac arrest. When I was taking my CPR certification course, there were several specific steps you had to take in properly administering the procedure from start to finish. It is much like Captain Sullenberger who is considered a "Thinker" according to that quiz. He acted quickly, using his knowledge and experience to land that plane the way he did.
Although, CPR guidelines keep changing from year to year, it seems like. I'll be going back shortly to get re-certified (certification lasts for 2 years and my time is coming this summer) and learn the new techniques.

there is actually a twist to the whole thing. personally, I think that any country that pushes it's women into battle out of anything short of desperation probably isn't worth fighting for in the first place.
but that is off topic.

I got your back, dix.

A lot of people have taken this -- it looks we are clustering around "realist" but a Poll would be interesting to see. Feel like adding one?

Took it last night on the Glenn Beck Insiders Forum.
No surprises here. I float like a butterfly, I sting like a bee.

"Only a man who knows what it is like to be defeated can ... come up with the extra ounce of power it takes to win."
By the way, my wife isn't Shrillary Klintoon, but she is a THINKER.

I thought I'd come out as a realist, but that old habit of analyzing junk happening reared its ugly head. :-)

Analyzing takes valuable time away from FIGHTING. Save it for searching the opponent's pockets AFTER you've torn it's throat out with your teeth and left it gasping out it's dying breath in the mud beneath your boot.

but fighting without knowing your enemy is a waste of effort.

but fighting without knowing your enemy is a waste of effort.
You'd be amazed what you learn about an opponent in the first moments of an engagement. Well, you - personally - wouldn't, probably; but the proverbial "you" might.
The learning curve is steep, but the rewards make the temptation awfully strong.
