Right now, there's a major scandal brewing about the police chief of Bellevue, and that's probably first in most voters' minds there. 

One wonders why the big guy hasn't given his position on that.

As for the second of the big guy's own two major issues, the buying-out (and trust me, big bucks would be involved in paying for the thing) of natural gas service to parts of Bellevue not covered by MUD (the Metropolitan Utilities District of Omaha), well, the big guy's already assured us that won't lower heating costs an iota; it would just mean paying into a pocket different from the pocket one pays into now.

So one is left wondering what the point is.
