There isn't any point in that approach, unless you really believe on-line polls actually mean something to anyone but the poster, and you're smarter than that.  All they really are is a form of broadsiding, to let the poster put up their personal stupidity and then feel validated when a bunch of like-minded idiots sign on.  Since all that accomplishes is making the poster feel good when everyone plays by the 'rules,' the more tampering and bullshit anomalous names get added, the more frustrated and pissed off the poster will feel, so it's better to just keep the good times rolling and enjoy the mayhem.

It will likely get through, as long as you use a valid e-mail address. They send a confirmation e-mail, and if it doesn't go through, the name is rejected. That was probably the downfall of the various Mr. Johnsons. Everyone should have anonymous free accounts at hotmail and gmail.

Phil MacCracken was rejected over 24 hours (NOT business hours) at 4669. Currently the list is only up to 4643 not pending approval.
