Hello Conservative Cave! I'm just a God-fearing conservative country girl from northern Illinois. There's not to many people around here that share in my beliefs so I thought that I'd try connecting online.

Thanks for having me!

My sister and her hubby TRIED to escape Manhattan, IL, but their house never sold. :???:I thought the economy was going gangbusters. :thatsright:
So, not being overly familiar with IL geography, something tells me you might be a little familiar with, if not Manhattan, then Will county.
BTW, welcome to the cave. :cheersmate:

When my husband was deployed during Desert Storm I swear I wore the CD out.  Cried every frikkin' time too, and still get teared up thinking about the real sacrifices our military heros and heroines are making every single day.  It pisses me off to know part of their sacrifice is to the benefit of undeserving pukey libs though. :banghead:

I am Jessica.  I grew up in southern Wisconsin.  You're right, not many conservatives at all in that area.
You may call me Jessica or Jess.

I'm from the LaSalle area. A bit south of there.

I know exactly where it is. My dad and stepmom moved to Springfield after I started college, so went through there everytime I went home.

My roommate, freshman year of college was from there.
