Hi from A Communist
« on: May 29, 2010, 09:39:07 AM »
Joined the other day and have been ordered to post here, so I'm a Communist from jolly old England, and my heroes are Ernesto Guevara and Sylvia Pankhurst. I hope to learn about conservative mindsets, and engage in interesting discussion and debate.

Your "hero" is Che Guevara?

I would think it would be an American Soldier.

So do hate rock n roll, films and minorities and small shopkeepers too? Do you love to watch tied up people being executed? Would you crap your pants in a real military situation too?

1)  taste in music is irrelevant and I really don't care is Guevara liked "rock and roll" or not
2)  Small shopkeepers are a necessity in capitalism as there must always be poor for there to be rich
3)  Executions? You guys are from the good old US of A right?
4)  Che led a column against a large numerical disadvantage and a US propped military regime through dangerous guerrilla fighting with a minimum of outdated weapons. I don't think any US military hero is anywhere near my hero in terms of bravery in combat.

Without those US military heroes.....your mommy and daddy and grandparents would have been living under Nazi rule....if they hadn't been killed.

My mommy and daddy were in the Pacific theatre at that time taking care of wounded Heroes, and my uncle was in a German POW camp captured after trying to prevent the death of your grandparents and parents.

So...my only further comment to you would be...**** Off, you sniveling little twit.

I see you are a true believer of "If the good old US hadn't intervened, the WHOLE WORLD would be Nazi right now."

What about the US and British heroes in Vietnam and Korea? Iraq? Imperialism never learns. And I include the USSR in that criticism.

And who else could have defeated Hitler?  No, the US didn't do it alone, but Hitler wasn't even being slowed by the other Allies.

You're right you don't think and no US military hero is anywhere near your hero. Che isn't worthy of licking the dog crap off any American hero's boots, military or otherwise.

Mention?  No.  Advocate for it?  Yeah, well, considering that most of us defended this country from communist intentions, you might have a hard time gathering a sympathetic audience around here.

Then again, it's efforts of your betters that make your blathering possible at little to no cost to you.

MEDAL OF HONOR - Award . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 1

I.  MEDAL OF HONOR. - By direction of the President, under the provisions of the act of Congress approved 9 July 1918 (WD Bul. 43, 1918), a Medal of Honor for conspicuous gallantry and intrepidity at the risk of life above and beyond the call of duty was awarded by the War Department in the name of Congress to the following-named officer:

Second Lieutenant Audie L. Murphy, 01692509, 15th Infantry, Army of the United States, on 26 January 1945, near Holtzwihr, France, commanded Company B, which was attacked by six tanks and waves of infantry. Lieutenant Murphy ordered his men to withdraw to a prepared position in a woods while he remained forward at his command post and continued to give fire directions to the artillery by telephone. Behind him to his right one of our tank destroyers received a direct hit and began to burn. Its crew withdrew to the woods. Lieutenant Murphy continued to direct artillery fire which killed large numbers of the advancing enemy infantry. With the enemy tanks abreast of his position, Lieutenant Murphy climbed on the burning tank destroyer which was in danger of blowing up any instant and employed its .50 caliber machine gun against the enemy. He was alone and exposed to the German fire from three sides, but his deadly fire killed dozens of Germans and caused their infantry attack to waver. The enemy tanks, losing infantry support, began to fall back. For an hour the Germans tried every available weapon to eliminate Lieutenant Murphy, but he continued to hold his position and wiped out a squad which was trying to creep up unnoticed on his right flank. Germans reached as close as 10 yards only to be mowed down by his fire. He received a leg wound but ignored it and continued the single-handed fight until his ammunition was exhausted. He then made his way to his company, refused medical attention, and organized the company in a counterattack which forced the Germans to withdraw. His directing of artillery fire wiped out many of the enemy; he personally killed or wounded about 50. Lieutenant Murphy's indomitable courage and his refusal to give an inch of ground saved his company from possible encirclement and destruction and enabled it to hold the woods which had been the enemy's objective.

Audie Awesome!  Totally correct in your selection but a commie would appreciate true heroism.  Here's my HERO.

Francis Marion (c. 1732 – February 26, 1795) was a military officer who served in the American Revolutionary War. Acting with Continental Army and South Carolina militia commissions, he was a persistent adversary of the British in their occupation of South Carolina in 1780 and 1781, even after the Continental Army was driven out of the state in the Battle of Camden.

Due to his irregular methods of warfare, he is considered one of the fathers of modern guerrilla warfare, and is credited in the lineage of the United States Army Rangers.

Joined the other day and have been ordered to post here, so I'm a Communist from jolly old England, and my heroes are Ernesto Guevara and Sylvia Pankhurst. I hope to learn about conservative mindsets, and engage in interesting discussion and debate.

Wow, this critter's a Brit and s/he still doesn't get it.

The mods don't order anybody around. There might be some very poignant recommendations, but there just isn't that kind of atmosphere here that even hints at what the critter says.

I note with interest that Karl Marx died in London. You guys kill him with kindness?

Personally, I think the critter is a joke and a troll. S/he wades in, spreads goober dust all around, then disappears again. S/he probably goes home to Mommy's basement and watches Ab Fab re-runs, or David Walliams as he portrays Linda in Little Britain.

Karl Marx was right about one thing. Feudalism was replaced by capitalism, but once the proletariat got a taste of Freedom and the personal satisfaction of doing for oneself as opposed to depending on the Gubmint, communism never stood a chance.

The Cubans, the Norks, and the Chinese haven't gotten the gist of that yet, but it's telling that the Chinese are using capitalism to strengthen their stance in the world.

Communism surely didn't do it, did it?

And where do you think the Norks and the Cubans are in the grand scheme of things?

The only kind of folks who embrace communism are the bourgeoisie who seek to rule not just themselves, but the proletariat as well.

It's going to be hard to rule an entire class of people when you're scheming in Mommy's basement, WC.
