Under the headline, "Construction Stops at Physician Hospitals," Politico reports today that "Physician Hospitals of America says that construction had to stop at 45 hospitals nationwide or they would not be able to bill Medicare for treatments." Stopping construction at doctor-owned hospitals might not seem like the best way to boost the economy or to promote greater access and choice in health care, but that exactly what Obamacare is doing.

Nope, those were fully intended consequences. POH's are private and more likely to be non-union.

Excellent point. I hadn't considered that.

Yup, let's stop hospital construction - great way to see to it that quality health care is provided.
Sad thing is, all too many Americans will either not hear about this, or will applaud because it's Obama's doing and therefore, it must be good.

This whole administration is a total failure. From the very top, to the very bottom. :hammer:

That's gotta be good for jobs; and healthcare costs; and local economies; and all kinds of other important things.
Not.

We can thank Mitt Romney for starting this crap. Since the government is going to get their filthy hands into the health care business, it will not be just hospitals deciding to cut back but you will see fewer doctors going into the profession. Who the hell want to rack up a couple of hundred grand in debt and then some bureaucratic idiot tell them how much they can charge. Conservatives take notice of this wolf in sheep's clothing named Mitt Romney.
