I started (returned to) working out with (mostly) free weights a few years ago, after not messing with them for several years. I do power lifting events with the state's senior games series, lifting in the 75 - 79 age group.
About three weeks ago I added kettle bell swings to my workout at the gym, and today bought a 25 lb KB for home use.
Kettle bells will kick butt.

Recently started working with a KB. It's not a huge one - only 25 lbs.
Running up and down stairs with a couple of those will DEFINITELY kick butt. I'm having to go at this slowly.
