The Cave has become, erm, 'Popular' - As I'm sure many of you have noticed - The site is being indexed constantly by a barrage of automated systems, usually no less than 4 to 5 thousand at a time.
I'm sure some of the traffic is legitimate. and I'm also sure some of the traffic is an attempt is to slow the site down/knock it offline. Thankfully, the current server can handle it just fine.
Anyway, I'm making some changes to how the software operates, which will free up resources to help keep the site running smoothly again. I've just made several of those changes, and as such, a positive impact should be noticeable soon (immediately).
with that being said, there could be setbacks that I'll need to address, but I suspect that is unlikely.
