I realize that many/most/all DU-folk do not care about facts and facts that contradict what DU-folk want to believe is true are regarded as "Reich-Wing" by those DU-folk. That said:

1. Trump is not selling Bibles, Lee Greenwood is.

2. The Bibles Greenwood sells are not autographed by anyone.

3. Trump has never in a literal non-sarcastic non-satiric way said that he is "The Chosen One". Even CNN has admitted that the comment to which kerry-is-my-prez referred was sarcasm. Whether kerry-is-my-prez lied or alluded to a liar's claim, I don't much care. Both alternatives are equally likely.

If the guy kerry-is-my-prez claims to have dumped is a faithful Catholic, he is better off for her departure (actually, even if he's a Cafeteria Catholic he's better off for it).

33. A uni pal invited me to her family reunion
I'd never been to one, and the concept sounded...interesting, in a scary way. So we go to the party at her grandmother's house, and meet the tribe.

Her grandmother had rather bad arthritis, and was sitting in one of those lift (?)chairs that still look like a recliner. Had pockets on the sides. I noticed them after one of my friend's cousins brought in her new beau, and he started praising reagan the traitor. Grans asked one time if he was saying what she thought he was. He smirked and said, 'yes, ma'am, he's the greatest president ever.'

Granny might have had arthritis, but she reached down to the side of her lift chair and pulled out a sawed off shotgun faster than the Waco Kid.

'I don't tolerate stupid or trash in my house, and you're both. Get out. And, you, Missy, are welcome to the same if you follow that cad.'

He ran. The idiot cousin cried a bit, but stayed. She didn't get any sympathy for bringing a 'G-D republican' into her grandmother's house, when everyone knew that the woman had been a die-hard liberal Democrat since at least FDR.

Perhaps dems think if they mention Trump without naming him, they can undercut his publicity and exposure. I don't think that works against someone as famous and high-profile as Donald Trump. Obviously, the left's strategy is flawed, but since when did that matter to DU?
