More than 100,000 Palestinian refugees living in Lebanon are expected to march toward the border with Israel on May 14 in the context of the Palestinian Authority's plan to mark the 60th anniversary of the establishment of Israel, PA officials told The Jerusalem Post Thursday.

The PA leadership has, meanwhile, announced that it would boycott any world leader who arrived in Israel to participate in the anniversary celebrations.

This would force Israel to fire upon them. And it would serve as an excuse to start a regional war.
I'm betting the Pals in Gaza will coordinate by storming the border and shooting everything in sight. This would force the bulk of the IDF to contain them freeing Syria to take the Golan Heights and invade Israel.

The question is, is this threat real or another Palestinian lie?

Hmmm, sounds like you're kind of drastically overstating the threat here, it doesn't sound like they are talking about storming and overwhelming the border at all, though I'm sure the Israelis are capable of fielding an in-depth layered defense should any faction of them have bright ideas along those lines, without stressing their major combat forces.
