drinks to dry
« on: March 07, 2010, 05:10:05 PM »
Usually I don't have a problem drinking drinks that produce expectoration, but sometimes it is getting to be a problem, and I'm concerned about this because of what happened last August, when that ulcer in the windpipe burst open.

What are some drinks good for drying out the inside of the throat?

A very long time ago, a physician used to give me "Organidin" or somesuch name, some sort of syrup, and it worked wonders.  However, it doesn't seem to be available any more.

Looks like that is just guaifenesin syrup; i.e.,  Robitussin. You should be able to get it over the counter just about anywhere, although maybe not under that particular name of Organidin.
