Turley, a card-carrying Democrat (I won't use the term "leftist" because I don't believe he is), has, on several occasions, shoved the Dems the proverbial high hard one. Especially when they were completely wrong, as they are almost always.

Quote
We’ve done a lot of reporting on Hunter Biden’s emails from his abandoned laptop.

But one of the things that made our latest story about the emails damaging for Joe Biden was the point that he and Hunter had at least one commingled bank account. Thus anything that Hunter was involved in could potentially drag in Joe, and Hunter’s finances are currently being investigated by the FBI.

On top of that, Joe Biden had claimed that he knew nothing about his son’s business. But his son’s business partner was intimately involved in the handling of various aspects of Joe’s finances — everything from doing his taxes to paying his mortgage. Why? Plus Hunter was paying some of Joe’s bills and vice versa. Again, why? With that and the commingled accounts, it means that contrary to what Joe said, he may have been benefiting from Hunter’s business actions because of that.

Now, George Washington University Law professor Jonathan Turley is pointing to that commingling of funds, noting how it contradicts Joe Biden’s repeated claims that he was unaware and uninvolved in past dealings by his son. Then Turley drops the hammer as to what he thinks should be happening now.

Quote
Given these links, there are legitimate questions of why the Justice Department has not sought a special counsel in the ongoing investigation of alleged money-laundering and tax violations linked to the president’s son. More i, even if there are no criminal charges, there is now a compelling need for an independent report on the alleged influence peddling operation by Hunter, his uncle James Biden, and potentially his father, President Biden. [….]

Most notable are the new emails from Eric Schwerin, his business partner at the Rosemont Seneca consultancy, referencing the payment of household bills for both Joe Biden and Hunter Biden. He also notes that he was transferring money from Joe Biden. If true, the communications indicate that some of President Biden’s personal expenses were paid out of shared accounts with Hunter, including accounts that may have been used to pay for prostitutes. Rosemont Seneca is directly involved in the alleged influence peddling schemes and questionable money transfers from Chinese and Russian sources. [….]

Even if one questions a direct conflict of interest, it is hard to deny the towering appearance of a conflict in the ongoing investigation.

“The Big Guy” is now president and his administration is handling an investigation that could have political as well as legal implications for him and his family. It may be time for a special counsel.

Turley also laid it out in a new interview on Fox, saying that we needed to have a special counsel to at least give us an independent report on the matter as to all these potential conflicts and influence questions.

We did get a special counsel to investigate the made-up Russia collusion lies promoted by Democrats/Hillary Clinton. For a false hoax that divided the country and wasted millions of dollars. A hoax that the media and Democrats milked in untrue attacks for years.

Where’s the special counsel to investigate the real issues that exist here? Republicans have called for it in the past. Now, you even have liberals like Turley looking at the situation on the legal merits and saying it’s time. This is exactly the kind of situation where you need it — where there are valid questions of conflicts and influence peddling, not to mention potential foreign government connection.

That won't happen, though it should. The Repubs don't have the stones, and McConnell has already said no way.

Of course, if McConnell is ousted and the Repubs actually snatch victory from the jaws of defeat (it's usually the other way around) in 2022, even Cornyn and Thune (who are poised to assume McConnell's gig) are Establishment Repubs and wouldn't convict.

The House, even if the Repubs oust Pelousy and her ilk, are just too disjointed and they'd fall into the same trap that the Dems did. The American people are tired of the bullshit impeachments.

  • Make America Great Again. Deport some DUmmies.
The dems *might* vote to impeach, to make the problem go away. Then Biden resigns his position willfully, leaving Kamalalalala as President, and voting against her will be viewed as both racist and sexist. Remember, the democrats will happily eat their own if it is politically expedient .

It's easier to just shoot leftists in job lots.

That sounds plausible except for one thing -- Jill hates Kamala-toe and will do anything -- and I do mean ANYTHING -- to keep her out of the WH even if it makes Joe look like the helpless doofus that he is.

Barry is having a helluva good time too, being the puppeteer pulling the strings. No, they WANT Joe in there because he never has had a mind of his own, what little of it there is.
