Carville-I don't think this man (Merrick Garland) knows whether to wind his ass or scratch his watch
(bunch of pics not brought over)
Well, we don't want someone that incompetent on the most important panel in the US, so I guess this is a good thing (https://www.democraticunderground.com/100215944533)

1. Completely agree - he's a milquetoast and should be replaced. I've seen nothing concrete
from the Dept of Justice - all talk.

4. When we lose our democracy the role Merrick Garland will have played is
exactly the one he's playing.
Boy, did we dodge a bullet there!

Thank you, Cocaine Mitch!
I know, he's a sleazeball career politician, but he delivered on Garland.

Boy, that didn't take as long as it usually does. Normally, DUmp denizens won't even poor mouth properly credentialed ( (D) next to their names) scumbags even after they're safely dead, in their graves and completely unable to object to being accurately characterized.

14. Not, Ma'am, As They Say, A War-Time Consigliere
At present, his is a job for a man with a thirst for blood, which I fear Mr. Garland lacks. Usually that's a good thing, but not now.
I'm open to being pleasantly surprised by some future developments, but wouldn't bet the rent on it.
What a dolt.
A top AG that’s out for blood is a bad thing, dimwit. Talk about dividing the country, some lone wolf would do it. What you want is someone level headed, something the emotionally driven Dems/leftists are incapable of controlling. And one way you can know that Dems/leftists can’t control their emotions is when they suggest the AG should be out for blood.

36. Garland has been a big disappointment Really? I couldn't tell.
Time is running out. If he’s got something he doesn't., he needs to move with it. with what exactly?
If he doesn’t have something on Trump again he doesn't, then he’s not the right person for the job because the criminal activity is all around for the viewing.
So IOW you're looking for someone like Adam Schitt who'll make stuff up. Gotcha :mental: harumph (764 posts)
37. If nothing is done, we can safely assume that some
very very powerful people have already co-opted the state apparatus - they desire an autocracy but can't go
public with it - whether they're concerned about conserving their wealth, or the risk of millions of climate refugees, or whatever, and
we have been duped. I think a lot of people pantomime being liberal or progressive - but when push comes to shove...
I guess the VRWC is back in session. Chump. :loser:
