I was in the hospital for an angiogram on Friday (not health related)
As I'm recovering, I had to spend several hours in a shared room with other patients.
Two beds down, someone is blasting Fox News at full volume.
I tried to ignore it, but it really got on my nerves.
I finally had my husband get my TV so I could blast MSNBC at full volume (which I did).
I didn't really want to, I wanted to rest and sleep more than anything else.
The disheartening part of all of it was that my TV was pre-tuned to Fox News!
I live in a really red area, *sigh*.
The whole thing was a sad reminder of just how pervasive Fox News is in Red areas.
I don't know how the nurses can stand having to listen to that crap. I'd go nuts, bananas, crackers.
Maybe they are of like mind and that is how they can tolerate it?
The other thing I'd say, this is a room for temporary stays. A few hours at most.
Why do the patients even need to have TVs?
Seems kind of rude to have a set up where other patients are forced to listen to a TV when they might not want to.
Oh well......

Lies.

I was about to post that the :bouncy: is plausible, since a DUpipo would retaliate, childishly, where a normal person would have used the call button to ask a nurse to have the other person's TV turned down. But then I realized that in my way-too-many surgery center visits - as a patient or with a patient - I have NEVER seen one with TVs in the recovery area. So this :bouncy: is virtue-signalling fiction, and not very well composed.

Obvious lie. Any true DUmmy would've hidden the TV in the ceiling tiles.

Lefties are overly concerned about two things*:
1) Skin color
2) What's on everyone's TV
Most people don't give hardly any thought to either of those things, but lefty sure does.
*I know there's more than two things, but these two seem to always be at the forefront.

Not only have I not seen TVs in the recovery area, but the TV's in the rooms have the volume locked down so they can't be too loud.

I just had surgery back in March and the TV in my room had the speaker on the little control thing for the bed and nurse and it was laying right next to my head.

Last I heard, they were getting away from dials, but that's pie in the sky thinking
