Please call it "pregnancy prevention" NOT birth control....

with all the baloney going on about abortion, Planned Parenthood, Mitt Romney etc I think it is a big mistake to use republican right wing framing when talking about these issues.

Pregnancy prevention is a more accurate descriptive term the pejorative term "birth control". It not about controlling births, it is about preventing unwanted pregnancies leading to unwanted births.

Re-framing this issue would be a great help.

You can call it flowers and sunshine, the Catholic church still will not support it.

It amuses me, that they think they can change minds by changing terms.

Personally I have no problem with birth control, as long as abortion is not the method for it. As far as I know, only people in the Catholic church and maybe some other denominations oppose birth control, because they view sex as solely for procreation. And you know what? It's none of my business if people think that, as long as they don't convert my wife.  :lmao:

I may not lock my doors while sitting at a red light and a black man is near, but I sure as hell grab on tight to my wallet when any democrats are close by.

So when Margaret Sanger had her monthly hymnal to eugenics published under the title "Birth Control Review" we should take that how?
According to the Bible, "know" means "yes."

Can someone point me to any time, any where a conservative has declared that we have to "re frame" an issue for it to gain acceptance?

I see the left endlessly saying those very words however.

I've been guilty of it Carl, but moreso to take away the feel good names that society has slowly adopted, i.e.  "funded by the government", "provided by the government", etc., etc.  I say every single time someone uses the word "government", it should be amended to say "taxpayer money".  Same goes for grants, subsidies, and credits.  That really grinds my gears.

Please call it socialist, NOT democrat.

What do I win?
Then-Chief Justice John Marshall observed, “Between a balanced republic and a democracy, the difference is like that between order and chaos.”

John Adams warned in a letter, “Remember democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet, that did not commit suicide.”

If the only problem were pregnancy prevention, it wouldn't be so horrible.  The bigger problem is that the MSM counts abortifacients as "prevention."  No matter how they frame it, it's forcing religious-based and owned institutions to pay for drugs that murder children.

They are two separate things .    Voter fraud is how the DemonRats would win elections if the Republicans didn't steal them through election fraud.  :-)

I'm a Catholic woman.

The teaching of the Church that I struggle with most is contraception.  It isn't that I think the teaching is wrong, in fact, I agree with the Church's teaching on contraception.  However, I acknowledge that I am not strong enough in my faith to live by it the way I should, and at times, I fail, and I use contraception.

I won't judge any other Catholic woman, but for myself, I don't take Holy Communion until I go to confession.  This sin is between me, my priest and God.

Having said that, I would *NEVER* expect for the Catholic Church to pay for my contraception if I worked for them, as it is against the teachings of the Church.  When Obama mandates that the Church pay for this, he is inserting the government between the Church and God, and no person, no matter how powerful, should be able to do that in this country.

Am I hypocrite for sometimes utilizing contraception but saying that the Church shouldn't have to provide it to others?  Perhaps, but I don't think so.  My choices are mine, and *I'm* the one sinning, not the Church.  I wholeheartedly hope and pray that the bishops fight this, and stand up to this tyranny.

A good start, IMO, would be to excommunicate Kathleen Sebelius.
