Title: Any bacon lovers in the Cleveland, Ohio area?
Post by: Disgusted in Euclid on April 11, 2012, 12:35:30 PM
I stumbled upon this stand at the West Side Market a few weeks ago where they were selling ground bacon - since we all love bacon in our house, I thought I'd try some.....this stuff was great! A real strong bacon flavor - you can either fry it up and drain it in a mesh strainer lined with a paper towel and store in the refrigerator for some real bacon bits or mix raw with some ground sirloin or other ground meat to make some really good burgers or meatloaf.

I've not seen this sold anywhere else, so I thought I'd pass it on for any bacon lovers out there that might have some connections in north east Ohio.

Here is the link for the meat stand:

Bon appetite!

Wouldn't that be so good in a burger?

Mrs E and I hit that market not long before we moved from Mentor to Missouri. Amazing stuff there, especially if you're a carnivore.  :evillaugh:
