A taste of third world living
We are among the one million power customers in the Mid Atlantic sweltering through a heat wave made worse by a power outage. Our temperatures were hovering at the three digit mark as the only sound apart from the birds were the drones of the few souls running their generators while not offering a few amps to anyone else.
I could only get this far. Typical liberal thinking: they didn't give me their shit! And this guy is well off too. How do you know they didn't give any to anyone else? I know plenty of people who offered their homes to relatives and friends(which apparently you aren't one to your neighbors and one has to wonder why
). That aside, perhaps if YOUR president didn't have gas prices still sitting in the 3's with his policies, perhaps people would be more willing to share those amps with you while the fuel is chugged away by that generator. Reap what you sew dummie. I wonder if stinky has offered any of his defrosting meat to feed anyone else in his neighborhood. My bet is he'll let it rot instead of sharing.
Oh and we endured the heat too. It sucked for a while, but we would have survived. what I reminded the kids(and myself) is that people lived in this for 200 years in our state before our outage happened. We would make due. The key I've found is the air circulates better outside. Get in the shade and take out some hand made paper fans and sit with a drink and just don't do a lot of anything. Pop a tent if you need to at night since it's going to be cooler outside then in. Again, stay hydrated.
How'd you like to be the guy in the power company truck, driving through and assessing damage, but not stopping to fix things yet? You think he'll be popular as he drives through, with no answers for you
If that's true, then you are already a foolish, 3rd world mob. Most civilized people understand bombs haven't been dropped and things will be restored in a few days. Crimini, I went through a florida hurricane where we had nothing for a week or more. Amazing I'm still hear to talk about it.
