I never understood why Socialists are in the US when there are a few other Socialist Utopias out there, why not go to those that exist then try to change a free Country into a Socialist 1?

Socialists are control freaks. Other socialist countries are worn out, defeated. Only the elite there prosper and they don't share elitism with newcomers.

Socialists in this country want to be elite. Its all about control. They want to be the one percent and to control every aspect of their subjects lives.  Socialists KNOW that socialism doesn't work. They want the power and socialism is simply an avenue towards that power.

However, I get the impression that CC's newest guest also falls into the 'hot air' category. Without knowing any more, I put them both on the same political ladder rung. A low level Socialist wannabe who doesn't fully appreciate or understand what they are asking for. I suspect both would be sorely disappointed if they have gotten their wish, as I feel that neither OS or our new guest would amount to anything more than factory labor in a genuine Socialist society.

Far too many liberals and socialists are just like this, all talk and no substance. Unwilling to defend their positions with a single link, they make a few hit and run posts and then go back to brag how they told us good when they did no such thing.

In fact I have not seen a single liberal/socialist willing to defend their position with links and facts.
