He's starting to sound like Nadin.

Ya know, give nads a fake beard and....yeah. they look alike! Funny you never see Nads and the crybaby together at the same time.

Back to the OP...when did Steve get a campaign tent? Where was it erected. Who took it down? Why?

Steve, if you leave it to me to speculate, I'll say it was at the girl's high school you stalk.
come on, throw your biggest fans a bone here.

and Grunt, welcome to CC. The name fits your avatar.

I think the 'campaign tent' was a poorly crafted reference to CC - that 'we' have been campaigning for him by campaigning against him - and that we are too stupid to realize it.

The post is a CC screencap - he is using it to 'flaunt our stupidity' or somesuch.

Anyway, Ive given OS's campaign some thought - and rolled briefly over Nebraska's 2nd congressional district demographics. The short version- The best OS can hope for is a solid 3rd place finish in the primary, mainly due to vote splitting. Then he can tell the story about how it was the closest a Dem has gotten in years, blah blah blah.

If he comes in 2nd and actually makes it onto the ballot, I figure he will lose the election on the order of about 8 to 1 against.

And one thing I have noticed about the DUmp - They don't like those who lose political runs. Other members who have run and lost have seen their DU popularity fall like a rock through wet toilet paper. Trends, arcs and dots indicate the same is likely for OS if he makes it to second place, whereas a 3rd place finish will be seen as a miracle in Nebraska, when he puts his numbers up against the competition, and points out how the difference between his results and the 1st place candidate was only a few percent.

Can you give me an example of a DUer popularity?

And I am not a member of DU, I lurk yes. They banned me last year after 8 years of blood, sweat and tears, and yes, you're right, I'm not a conservative, I'm a socialist.

I help run Old Elm Tree though.

It isn't much, but it's home.

Perhaps it would be nice to check the facts and truth.
You would find they disagree with that statement.

Not according to the sources I have. I have very good sources that has told me many stories.

It's a eye opener for those who didn't know.

Sorry folks, but my time in CC is over. I'll see you around the bend.

Why did you lie about being a conservative?
First of all you aren't the first one to try this, so even idiots like us can detect it, secondly you can post freely as a liberal here.
I may not lock my doors while sitting at a red light and a black man is near, but I sure as hell grab on tight to my wallet when any democrats are close by.

You're right, I identify myself as a socialist.

On the other hand, it appears that your mission is to destroy a fellow socialist.

I thought your first post was a lie. Just like the racist accusation that you can't support with as much as a single link.
So why did you falsely accuse us of being racist?

Bitchslap for being a whiner. and for telling me how to be a conservative on your very first post.

Look, you will get a lot more respect if you come out and say you are Steve from  DU.

Except I'm not. I'm not even from Omaha. I was born and raised in a city about 400 miles southwest of Omaha, and yes, it's a liberal city.

You can call me.. Ishmael.

So you admit that socialists must stay in the closet or not be able to get elected. Must suck to have such unpopular beliefs that you have to hide them.

I won't even mention what your administrator did, and it's already public information.

The first is a DUer we don't name here - but I will say that he produces a comic strip containing Victorian images with added word bubbles. He was a pretty big thing at DU, and then he ran for a small political office, and his campaign collapsed. Ever since, he has fallen off the radar.

The second is a DU Wunderkind, who has now been banned multiple times. He was loved as a prodigy, ran, lost, got banned, ran for at least another office and got banned multiple times thereafter for 'Spamming'.

There was another who ran for mayor for a small town, he lost, and I am pretty sure he simply left DU. Of course it was all love and bubblegum while he was a contender, but not anymore.

DU member Alan Grayson - they loved him almost universally - now only the DU 'fringe' pay him any mind.

Again, I refer others to "understanding Omaha Steve."

It's the link in my "signature."

I call bull. You don't have sources on the ground. Certainly you're unable to provide specifics.

as for Andy, again you need to understand FREE SPEECH. Live with it honey. Its not going away.
