Omaha Steve (aka Steve Dawes) is running for City Council for Ward 1 of Bellevue, Ne.  That makes him a public figure.  If a picture were taken of him and shared, how would that be different than taking the picture of any other political candidate?  He has been very open regarding his political aspirations.

And because he's a candidate for public office, the normal rules don't apply to him here.

Generally, we respect boundaries when it comes to most of the primitives, the ones not public figures.

But when it comes to primitives running for office, the "Sarah Palin rule" applies.
