I'm sure a lot of decent and civilized people will be speaking with the Weeper's opponent, if the Weeper makes it into the general election,
which is highly, highly doubtful. (Remember,  the Weeper couldn't even advance to some trivial, useless position in his local union. Not even his fellow deadbeats would elect him.)

There would be nothing at all sinister or devious about speaking with his opponent. If the people of Bellevue are threatened with having an avowed socialist on their city council, they should be fully aware of what and who he is before they cast their vote for him.

Don't know why that fat **** is so bothered about what anyone is doing since he can't be bothered to file the paperwork to run in the first place. Then again its probably more in his nature to try and find someone else to do the heavy work for him just like his real job at the sewer plant.

His nasty ultra-conservative friends would see over a dozen items on the net in his past he can't erase that scream closet liberal.

  I wonder what he meant by this.  Was it some sort of overt kindness on the part of whoever he's talking about?  Some kind of compassion that would make his conservative friends shun him, and turn away in disgust?  Of course, no act of kindness is right or true unless it has been funnelled through some government program, correct?

Another thought I have is that if Socialism is the One True Religion, and so perfect and just, why doesn't he yell from the top of a sandhill "I AM PROUD TO BE A SOCIALIST, MY FELLOW NEBRASKANS!"
