I wonder if the Sonoma cops like to play with his fully automatic weapons.

What's with the Elmer T. Lee single-barrel bourbon? TiT has alwyas been a Bombay Sapphire man.

If TiT got a Kindle, he may have read the hilarious, fabulously-popular series of Kindle-only books about Donovan Creed, a mysterious, infallible, pseudo-CIA assassin, with James Bond sex appeal. When you read those books, you're unavoidably struck by how Creed is an exact caricature of the persona TiT has worked so hard to construct at the DUmp.

Creed, like this reincarnation of TiT, drinks only single-barrel bourbon. Unlike TiT, Creed would never take a job selling bird baths and chia pets.

Actually, TiT probably got his love of Bombay Sapphire from Dick Marcinko, he of Rogue Warrior and Seal Team 6.

51. It's the pressure.

Tornadoes suck all of the air from the surrounding atmosphere. That's why windows and people (and cows, fish, dogs, etc.) get sucked out and up. The result of this is to build intense pressure within the system.

I have witnessed many tornadoes and waterspouts and you simply cannot see thru the vortexes.

Tornadoes are more than simple wind, the same as hurricanes aren't just massive rainstorms.

Jeez, it's not as if I was making light of a Bad Deal, it's just that I am pretty sure this storm will be re-classified by tomorrow.

I was once (maybe a thousand years ago) the meteorologist of the 7th Fleet (US Navy, Pacific Theater).

87. And I don't mean to be argumentative.

Really, no one who knows me on DU laugh right now. But I honestly think that it's a dangerous idea that tornadoes can never be see through. I'd hate to think of anyone seeing one and thinking it isn't a tornado with that misconception. You think it will be re-classified? I highly doubt it. All signs point to tornadoes, from the radar, to the damage, to the fact they looked very much like tornadoes. The fact that meteorologists themselves are unequivocally referring to them as tornadoes is pretty convincing as well.

Those trees blew over.

Sideways.

That's not how it happens in a tornado.

The 'weatherman' are laying it out in John Q language.

That was no tornado.

It was a wind storm and it went viral.

I represent a carver who will make a ton of money on this.

And so will I.

We get all of the downed maples.

8. I knew one of the founders of Waste Management.

Wayne somebody. He was a friend of my asshole step-father (ex-CIA, KBR) and a total jerk 'pub.

It was sometimes in either the late 60s or very early 70s and I was home on leave.

Wayne, "Keep up the good work, it's great for business."

Good find ScubaGuy. I know he's made the KBR claim before, but isn't this the first time he's claimed his step-dad was ex-CIA

32. I sit here in the sunshine...

in my beautiful little town. Great wine, great company and good health. I can drink wine, play guitar and sing anything I want until the sun comes up if that's what I feel like doing.

I make people happy, all the time.

Then I sit at this damn machine and blip some reply that makes me laugh - but it hurts housewolf, whom I have never met. And she is just the one I know of.

And that has no worth, whatsoever, other than making me think more than twice about being a 58 year old juvenile.

Thank you,

5. Yeah, I know, sam.

I have had upwards of a half-dozen serious concussions, 3 or 4 were combat-related.

We didn't have a term like TBI back then, you just had your "bell rung" and got back to the matter at hand when you were no longer a risk to the Team.

I also was involved in a water-related (drowned) incident that flat-lined me.

But I never knew depression until last month when my radial nerve (lower right arm) went on vacation.

Man, if I am alone at home I am my own worse Enemy.

I spent the better part of two years at TIRR (Gifford's hospital)

There could be no better place for her rehab.

As the result of a freakish drowning incident, I awoke from an induced coma at TIRR (then called the Texas Institute for Rehabilitation and Research), knowing nothing but my name. Actually, I am pretty sure the only reason I knew my name is because the doctors and nurses prefaced every single thing they said to me with my name. I had no knowledge of language, math, or anything else. I had no motor skills or control of any part of my body.

I could not even recognize my own Mother.

Without going into a lot of boring detail and painful personal history, I was the first successful product of regressive therapy. Rather than re-teach me, they pulled as much knowledge and history from within me as possible and then taught me what they could. TIRR brought in specialists from all over the globe to work with me. NBC followed this for a while, but I was never aware of it as TIRR allowed few distractions for me. I found out later that TIRR had decided that I was the perfect candidate for this new (at the time) theory.

One week short of two years after my entering the hospital, I walked out.

Gabby Giffords could not possibly be in a better place, given her condition.

That's all.

14. It took years to get the music part back together.

Since I had lost all muscle memory, I had to relearn everything and then get my hands to 'talk' to one another again.

Then, four years ago, I had another misfortune and lost control and voluntary movement of my right arm and hand.

But I am playing again.

How did you know that I play music?

So TiT is 58, and was a swiftboat pilot in 1969 at 16 years of age, by which time he was also a member of Seal Team 6, a nuclear weapons guard on board ship in the South China Sea, and also a member of Special Forces, well on his way to becoming the second most decorated enlisted man in the history of the United States Navy. He was a teenager when he held a shotgun to the chest of the Secretary of the Navy. And his stepfather was an operative for Kellog Brown and Root, a company which was formed only about 20 years ago.

Seems to me that before his tombstoning in 2008(?), TiT was claiming to be in his early 60s.

Nadin is toast.
