There are two ways to cut a deficit:
   
1. Reduce spending

2. Increase revenue

The repubicans simply ignored this when they held sway. They increased spending and decreased taxes (revenue).

Why are the Democrats now playing right into that strategy? The wealthy, who were overwhelmingly the beneficiaries of tax cuts, remain criminally undertaxed. Meanwhile, the cuts go to the very programs that, literally, are keeping some of us alive.

In all fairness, the rats ignored this as well. they printed funny money to pay the bills devaluing further the worth of every dollar.

The current budget from the white house spends nearly 4 trillion and takes in only 2 trillion in taxes.
Frankly I would rather cut spending.

One universal truth about any of the DUchebags whether they be poor or rich is that1 anyone making more than them should have it all confiscated by the government.

Rush just went over ObiOne's budget cuts. Incredible! He put in cuts that are downright dishonest! Cutting aid to the poor for their heating bills was the most hilarious!

If this isn't bait to trap the Republican majority in the House, nuttin' is! Oh, and there's 15 new taxes!

The messiah once again proves he's in over his head and is clueless! no way the repubs are goin' to make the cuts he's suggesting, and he knows it! The prick can't find waste in a 3 trillion dollar budget? He proposes cutting back on programs he knows would cut the the legs right out from under the Conservative movement!

I don't see any cuts on programs for his Union buddies! That's the first place we should start! How about PBS, and NPR, Zero? You gonna tell us we can't do without either of those? How about the bloated Education department? We spend more per kid than anyone else, yet are rewarded with DUmbasses!
