You guys will be happy (or perhaps sad) to learn that I have just been presented with some lovely granite. That being the case, I'm not too worried about my identity getting out here, although I won't intentionally reveal it (as that spoils all the fun).

Although I was not a top-tier DUer, I did merit a few mentions in some very entertaining DUmmy threads here over the years and was particularly hated by a few of you, at least briefly. Sadly, I was never able to make any "top DUmmy of the year" lists and was disappointed that my efforts went unacknowledged in that regard. Oh well, can't win 'em all, eh?

Having said that, I was not a troll or a mole. I was (and am) a very real leftist, at least economically - and my insistence on that (and repeated disparaging of The Great One as a result) is what apparently led to my unceremonious TS'ing. Very sad. I am just heartbroken at having been railroaded by the Gestapo for the Greater Good of DUetschland. LOL.

Apparently the cash cow of franksolich's fellow alum Skins is now safe from the looming threat of me. It's a bright new day in DUmmyland. I'm sorry that you guys will no longer be able to enjoy my posts, and that I shall never see the dream of being crowned Top DUmmy realized.

You say the wrong thing there and it is lights out,you come here and are open and you get teased with (you will be challenged too) but not banned just because.

You've been booted off the island.  Why not reveal your identity?  We could probably get a few things settled a whole lot quicker that way.

Are you worried something you said at the DUmp will bite you in the ass?  I think so.  And there is no fun in trying to figure out your identity, that's child's play.

Although please do not take DU as an example of the left. The left laughs at DU, as it does at all "liberals" and "progressives" (liberals scared to call themselves liberals).

DU "liberals" are as far from the real left as you guys are. Seriously. We don't like nose-in-the-air, latte-sipping, socially self-righteous, politically correct, comfortable, isolated hypocrites who pretend to care about "the unfortunate" either.

Howdy Token.  Since your post is lucid and reflects only a certain philosophical disagreement with our economic views, it's not hard to see why you never made the Top Ten...no tales of a kid in prison for drug dealing, no spittle-flecked ravings about the BFEE, no 'Peace be upon Him' or 'Blessed be his Name' after your Obama references, no bounce-a-rific conversions of 'Wingers' in a gas station....well, you get the picture.

It's kind of ironic that you persevered and struggled to stay on a site that is so transparently devoted to the personal enrichment of a triad of ruthless Capitalists, doncha think?  Ah well, such are the small ironies of life.

A few here may say some things you really don't like to you, but as long as you maintain an affable persona and stay away from name-calling or flamebaiting, you'll be welcome.  You won't get banned just for your economics being at odds with our beliefs, varied as those are.

Oh I know liberals who either got pizza'd at DU or took a look around there and thought those people were insane. I also don't like snooty nose in the air elitists who think they know better than the average person, and in fact tend to be some of the dumbest people ever when it comes to common sense.

Oh, and I hope you're not Tatum over there, I'd feel bad because they've had some pretty decent posts the past week or so.

I can't remember how many bouncies I did, but it was very few. All were true, although I can't blame you guys for being skeptical. I myself felt that a large portion of the "real life" stories were either being totally pulled from arses, or heavily embellished. DU was, after all, the home of TomInTib, among others. LOL.

As for the irony of helping Skinner ride the capitalist gravy train, it did cross my mind - many times. I viewed it as just "one of those things." Everybody's a hypocrite to some extent, although I'd have no objection to saying that Skinner might be among the more well-practiced.

I never really did spit-flecked BFEE posts or the like - not many, anyway. Bashing Bush just for the hell of it didn't seem too productive to me. Nothing is ever going to be changed for the better by any number of mouth-foaming BFEE posts, so why bother. Plus, it's silly. Although I did not like Bush one iota, he was an elected American president. The people wanted Bush and they got him. If you want one just for fun, though, I can oblige:

But seriously, I actually bashed Obama more than I ever did Bush, because he is the bigger fraud.

Welcome on behalf of the staff.......

We have no political loyalty tests here, as a matter of fact you may encounter other former DU members if you remain long enough.  Simply follow the board rules, and you'll have no problems, short of the usual hazing.

Your posting capability and other functions are restricted until you reach fifty posts, beyond that and all forums and capabilities are available to you.

We have a large number of both serving and former military members, therefore should you have problems with the military, it would be our suggestion that you keep those to yourself.

I am as civil as anyone could want to a person on the left and enjoy a debate/discussion.

You are not here for that you say,so be it but as another welcome from staff please don`t think you can take potshot,hit and run posts and then not defend them if you are inclined to stay.
We all post our opinions on specific matters knowing full well we need to be able to offer an argument as to why that opinion is correct.
