I do like reading about Hinduism and Buddhism though. They seem to be kinder, gentler religions and are sans fire and brimstone. I love the writings of JalÄl ad-DÄ«n Muḥammad RÅ«mÄ« also, and I find the Sufi philosophy soothing as well.

It appears that most of the DUmmies will meet face-to-face, some day soon, with their idols Che, Mao, and Stalin.
Break's over! Everybody back on your heads!
polmaven (1000+ posts) Mon Oct-13-08 03:37 PMResponse to Reply #1 34. I absolutely CRINGE with the thought of beginning any sentence with "God Hates" or "Jesus Hates"! The fundies say that all the time...They have NO idea what being Christian is all about!...God does NOT hate! Period! Fundies hate. God does not.

LooseWilly (274 posts) Mon Oct-13-08 06:03 PMResponse to Original message 67. All of the above? I believe in all of them. Not that they are right, merely that they exist. I believe in the existence of all gods. They all exist in my head, just like the word "abstract", the existence of which word I also believe in.Today, I think I'm leaning toward Hinduism emotionally... but the Flying Spaghetti Monster is pencilled in for later this week (about the only God who can reconcile the absurdity of listening to McCain try to make sense in a debate...).

What does that even mean?
Take a look at the poll now. It says a lot about the DUmp:And to think they believe they are representative of America. They aren't even close to what the actual make-up of the country is.
