Attn: All DUers Read This: I Need Your Help! (http://www.democraticunderground.com/10024379384)

My name is Steve Senti, I am 54 years old and disabled. I own and run oreilly-sucks.com and have been a member here since 2001.

I posted here a few months ago after my Father passed away in May of 2013. I was living with my 89 year old Father who had alzheimers and Dementia, I took care of him and paid the bills with his social security and pension money. Now he is gone and I am all alone in his house with $800.00 a month in bills.

I am still trying to get over his death and a day rarely goes by that I do not cry thinking about him because I miss him so much. I was in control of his entire life for the last 2 years, and he was not just my Father he was my best friend too. We got about as close as a Father and son could get and I am still depressed from him being gone.

I am on food stamps and I get my medical care from the OSF community clinic, the state pays for it with a medical card that went into effect on 1-1-14, and they pay for my 5 prescriptions with a $2.00 co-pay for each one. I am disabled with a bad back and other medical problems, so it limits what I can do.

I got a law firm called myler disability to file my SSI claim, it was denied and we filed an appeal, the appeal was denied in December and we filed the next appeal for the ALJ hearing with a judge, where most appeals are won. But they tell me it will take 11 to 13 months to get the appeal hearing with the judge, here is a copy of the most recent letter they sent me.

I do not have much of an income, I make $100 to $200 a month selling ad space on my website, but some months I do not make anything. So I need to raise some money to help me pay my bills until I get my SSI ALJ appeal hearing in December.

So if anyone can help me and make a donation I would appreciate it very much, I need to raise about $7.000 dollars to get me to December. Now I understand that is a lot of money, and I do not expect you guys to donate that much to me.

But if you can donate anything it will help. I have even tried to find work I can do and had no luck. I even tried to get the state vocational rehabilitation office to find a job I can do and so far they have not found anything for me either. So it looks like I am on my own until December, that means I need to raise $7.000 to pay my bills for the next 11 months.

I was lucky to sell an ad spot on the website recently, which will give me enough money to pay the bills for February. But if I do not raise some money from donations by the end of february, I will run out of money by March.

So please donate if you can, I have a paypal donation page on the website:

http://www.oreilly-sucks.com/donate.htm

And my paypal e-mail is: oreillyspins@yahoo.com

Steve

P.S. Even if you can not donate, if you could keep this thread kicked up so everyone can see it for a couple day I would appreciate it.

Thank you.

Looks like you reap what you sow, Stewert.  You start a smear site like oreillysucks.com and your life is filled with misery.

Funny that.

I'm not even a huge OReilly fan, but someone ought to email this link to a producer at his show.  They'd get a kick out of this pathetic weasel's whining, for sure.

Google street view shows a well kept yard, so he must be keeping up appearances.  He sounds like he may
have overdosed on too much hope and change in the last few years.  I think he may have a math deficiency
since he can't seem to make 2+2=4.  The heating bills must be cutting into the cash he makes from his oreilly.com

Steve Senti,  those monies are taxable.  I hope you do the right thing and report them, before someone has to do it for you.

His brother owns the property, and so is probably the one doing the maintenance.

I am Steve Senti, for the last 3 years I devoted my life to taking care of my 89 year old WWII veteran Father, who won the Bronze Star fighting the Germans. I quit my job to live with him and care for him 24/7. He had Alzheimers and Dementia, and recently many other medical problems. Until he passed away on May 14th.
He was not just my Father, he was my best friend and I was devastated when he passed away. I have not made it one day since he died without thinking about him and crying. He was my whole life, and the last family I have. My Mother passed away in 1998, and now I am all alone.
I am still living in his house, but it went to my half brother, and he plans to sell it around the end of summer. So I need to raise enough money to pay some medical bills for my Father and me. I also need to raise enough money to support myself for 3 months, and I have $1,000 in bills every month.
I am disabled with a bad back and other medical problems, and I have filed for SSI, but it takes 4 to 6 months to get a ruling.
So please make a donation to help me get by until the end of summer.

This fundraiser is for my friend Steve Senti, who lived with his 89 year old Father and took care of him. Please Help support him.
Steve was living with his 89 year old Father, he took care of him 24/7 for the last 3 years because he had Alzheimers and Dementia. He is 53 years and he has a bad back plus a couple other medical problems that keep him from working.

His Father passed away and left him in his house with no money to pay the bills or live on, so we need to raise some money for him so he can pay the bills while he waits for his SSI hearing.

Steve is a great guy who helps everyone he knows with anything he can, and he spent the last 3 years caring for him 89 year old WWII veteran Father. He is only getting food stamps and medical from the state, no financial aid.

So I am doing this fundraiser to help him get the money he needs to pay his bills while he waits for the SSI appeal hearing.

Yeah I bet it's for your friend... I bet you didn't write this Steve you lazy POS.

So Steve had multiple fundraising campaigns in the works at the same time he was using Wishado! I wonder if Wishado's administrator knows about this.

Property taxes in Illinois are very high. Being close to Peoria does not help. Yeah, the house is small but would be comfortable for one or two people. I like the yard and long driveway.

My Father was in debt and he did not leave me any money, so all I have is the veteran cemetery plot he had at Swan Lake Memory Gardens in the Field of Honor in Peoria Illinois. It was valued at $1.450.00 back in February of 2013 and the value goes up by $100.00 a year. I am trying to sell it for $1.000.00 and it has to go to a veteran.

I have been mulling this over a bit as to why if he is so 'disabled' he waited until his father died before he filed for disability. I have a feeling he was being paid as his father's caretaker via medicare--homehealth since family members can do that now and that may have gone to the shitter if he had claimed disability? Or was it because he was worried he wouldn't get approved since he's lifting his father into the bath and such making it a bit skeptical as to the condition of his back? Anyone's thoughts on this? Just seems that he didn't have to wait until his father passed away to file if he was in such a bad way medically.

35. CrispyQ...........

Thanks I appreciate it.

My Father was my whole life, and he was a great man. He was in world war two in the 3rd division infantry, and he won the bronze star, along with about 5 other medals. I lost my job in 1995 when they closed the plant I worked at and he supported me until he died.

What made is really hard is that I lived with him and took care of him, so we got as close as a Father and son could get. Then on top of that I am disabled and trying to get SSI, and he was also my financial support. I used his soc. sec. money and his pension money to pay the bills, and now he is gone and that money is gone with him.

My Mother died in 1998 so now I am all alone in his house with no family, I just sit here all day and night worrying about money and thinking about my dad. It's giving me sleep problems, depression, etc. And on top of that I have diabetes and high blood pressure. I take 5 medications a day and now they tell me it will take a year to get an SSI appeal hearing.

I can not get any financial help from anyone, I even applied for public aid and they tell me they are waiting to see what the SSI ruling is, so I sit here with no income and nobody helping me financially. Now if I was a single mother with a child or two I could get all the help I need, but since I am a single man I can not get anything, except food stamps and medical care.

I worked 17 years and paid into social security, and the thanks I get is screw you, wait two years and hope we approve your claim. Then on top of that I took care of my Father for the last 3 years and kept him out of a nursing home, which saved the state about $180,000. And they will not give me a dime in aid.

I just wonder what I am supposed to do if I run out of money and can not pay the bills anymore, I ask everyone I know that question and nobody has an answer for me. Do I just end up homeless, where will I live, how will I pay the truck insurance, etc. Nobody can answer any of these questions, and I just wonder where all this free stuff is O'Reilly and the Republicans talk about, because I sure am not getting any of it.

Then on top of all that I am still having trouble getting over the death of my Father, so I sit here in an empty house depressed and worrying about money. O'Reilly and the right claim that anyone with a sore back can get all this free money and Government aid, but I sure can not find it, except for food stamps and medical care I am no getting anything from the state or federal Government, nothing.

Now I will be the first to say that many baby mamas are abusing the system, however what an absolute shitbag to compare himself to someone who is responsible for minor children and who has to live their life always with the biggest priority as to not only how to feed themselves, but their children, provide care so they can work, etc. He's not taken care of anyone in his entire life and he dares compare himself to someone responsible for another human being(And I don't count his dad since his dad was contributing financially--the only one in fact--and children are not capable of doing that when they are minors nor are they expected to so sure he cared for his dad, but his dad was the one providing a roof over his head so it's the least he could do. Children don't put a roof over their parents head in return for their care, nor should they). What a revolting human being. Really, given his attitude it's pretty obvious he cared for his parent at least in part because he got something out of it in return. Why on earth woudl he have put him in a nursing home and risked having to go back to work to provide for himself yet he behaves as if he's some altruistic being who saved the state money--oh ****ing please.

If his back is so bad, how did he take care of his father?

If he can sit and type on a computer and drive a truck, I think there should be some kind of desk job somewhere that he can do.  Maybe O'Reilly will give him a job.

It is the same. Look at the reflection in the mirror: it's the same setup as the picture in the FSBO on the TV end. That's just the end we can't see in the picture.

Yup, I am just now seeing it's a mirror. I thought it was a pass thru window to another room. So it looks like he put a bed in the living room to make it easier for dad? Or he sleeps in that room due to it has the a/c.

Most of the ads on his website are for online gambling. Maybe he blew the money on gambling?

Bed is for Steve, not the father.  The bed is sitting directly on the floor without a frame.  It would be too hard for such an elderly man to get up off the bed unless he was way on the short side.

That place looks to be a sty.  I can't believe the man couldn't be bothered to clean it up for a realty pic.  It speaks volumes about him.

Actually it isn't hard to figure out. The panhandler has been living with the old man for years, sponging off his pension.

The old man died and, according to deadbeat stew, left the house not to stew but to his half-brother.

The half-brother is trying to sell the house, which will force stew to hit the bricks like Amber in Tucson and grasswipe Judy Smith up there in Oak Grove, Oregon.

There's no way stew would cooperate in making the house attractive for sale.

Half-bro isn't hurting for funds like Stewie. Probably has a job and feels sorry for the worthless leech. House has no particular sentimental value to Half-bro. Will take any positive $ offer, and let the new owner give Stewie the heave-ho.

Stewie ought to spend one night a week in the gutter out front to see what is the most comfortable position to lie in.

I have never seen any of his posts that mention that he has attempted to find a job or hold a job since he lost the job years ago.

He has made no attempt to work to "test" or "strengthen" his back. I have know even when I was laid up with injuries that legitimately prevented me from working (broken bones, surgery, etc.) the less mobile I was the more I hurt. It still hurts, I just hurt less when I keep moving.

What evidence does this jack ass have to justify his bad back?

Illinois has a pretty high minimum wage. He could easily work part time and take home the $800 a month that he needs.

I agree. The house obviously needs a new roof and the plastic on the windows screams "needs new windows."

Yep, that is the case here. The windows definitely need replacing. :p

Are your windows wood, or aluminum like what stewert has?

The wooded-framed windows can be repaired quite easily and made to perform very well.  I don't know anything about the aluminum framed ones, though.

Do you play poker? Ever gone in the tournaments?
I have won a couple :D

I have played a thousand cash games with friends. I usually won. That was before Hold Em was so popular. I have not played for a few years. I did play Hold Em a couple times with friends, I also won. Never played in a casino.

I was told by people that thought they were good, that I was really good as I took all the chips. One young kid said "I can't read you" my reply "I'm a car salesman, do you want me to go broke?" At the time I was an internet manager for a GM dealership.

One good friend of mine tires to play at the Wynn every Saturday. He could go pro. He is about the age where he is thinking about retirement and I am not sure why he does not, he has plenty of money. He has been a pharmacist all his life and has no children. He has won tournaments. He has also won some online tournaments. Gambling is changing. In Nevada as long as your IP address or your smart phone identifies you as being in Nevada you can play at home, legally. That includes sports book. The problem in my area is, those with AT & T that try the online gambling the IP address shows up as California.

Even here in the desert I could use a couple new windows. I put plastic on one of my windows one winter when we had a lot of wind. It's been mild here this winter. The window was closest to my sofa in the living room and there was always a chill there. It helped. The next Spring I put a new rubber seal in the window frame. Window technology has came a long ways. Some of the older farm houses that I had relatives live in were really bad. You could watch the drapes move.   :-)

I replaced a few windows in the apartment that is attached to my house. That place hardly needs a heater in the winter now. It also has lower ceilings. I really want tinted windows for my house to keep some of the warm sun out. On the other hand the sun feels good right now. In another hour I will have my windows open and by 8 PM they will be closed and by 10 PM my furnace will be running again.

Please, please, PLEASE, someone educate this piece of shit. My attorney general is in a WHEELCHAIR!!  AND, he's running for governor!

This 'guy' is what is wrong with this country. He "worked 17 years ..."  And now expects the rest of us to pay for his sorry ass?!  **** him!  I started real, actual work, at 14 years of age. I've been working for 36 years, paying into this system and have asked for NOTHING!  The only thing I've asked for was to be let out. I called SS once about 15 years ago and said, if they would let me out they could have every dime I put in and I would never ask for anything. The bitch on the phone laughed at me.

God, I wish this retard lived close enough to me that we could have a conversation.

KC

I have worked since 16 and because of my pension I am working towards all those years I put into social security I am not entitled to because I have a pension.  Such bullshit. Hard workers are punished for hard work.

Gina, you obviously have a work ethic that your children are seeing, and hopefully will emulate.

We got about as close as a Father and son could get and I am still depressed from him being gone.

And, yet, he left the home to your half brother. I'm thinking your definition of close wasn't the same as your fathers. Methinks he wanted your ass gone long ago but, like Herpes, you wouldn't leave. This was his final, "**** you, get off your lazy ass and get a job" message. Think about it, Stewie, he knew you didn't have a job or a home. He knew your half brother did, and he left it to the one with the job and the home? Not rocket science, clown.

That is not the only payroll deduction you will probably never see paid back.
Every one of them is an illegal hidden tax that's disguised to not look like transfer payments.

Hi Stewart:

I can help you with your money problem, participate in this GOVERNMENT study and you will earn $3000 for just nine days of "work".  You have no excuse for not supporting yourself. I consider this part of my charitable nature and just want to help the large segment of the DU community that is currently down on their luck.

You are welcome.

"The National Institutes of Health are inviting people to get the flu. Healthy adults can apply to be part of a study that pays participants $3,000 to have the flu virus squirted up their noses, and WPBF says it’s all in the name of science. People who participate will be quarantined for nine days so scientists can study how the body fights off the flu. The end goal for the study is to improve the flu vaccine. "

Edited to add omitted words.

I can't understand why anyone is in poverty, even if they can't find a way to reach Tucson.

Every day, I see many offers on the innertube to make $85 an hour working from home.
