Kathy Griffin isn't nearly as funny as she thinks she is but she has her moments. She is of the new school of comedy that thinks you have to be vulgar to be funny.

^Me too. I tried to watch her reality show when I saw the promo for her going to "entertain" the troops in Iraq. Kudos for going over there and trying to make them laugh but I found her downright out of place and her comedy routine stunk. She has also visited wounded troops (another segment they showed) and she really didn't belong there IMO. She's obnoxious in a Howard Stern kind of way.

When the openly gay newscaster took over the time slot from Aaron Brown a newspaper ran a headline on it that read "Cooper Fills Brown Hole In Schedule At CNN"  :-)
