I've been playing this for the last year. It lets you recreate the dogfights you've seen in Star Wars Episodes IV-VI using pre-painted miniatures of fighters such as the X-Wing and TIE Fighter and other ships in the Star Wars Universe. They have released all of the ships from the three films plus the HWK-290 from the video game Star Wars Dark Forces. All of the ships are in scale with each other at 1/270th.

Also coming later this year is the Imperial Aces expansion with 2 TIE Interceptors, one with the Bloodstripes of the 181st Fighter Wing and the other in the crimson of the Emperor's Royal Guard:

And scheduled for release early in 2014 is the Tantive IV blockade runner seen at the beginning of Episode IV and the GR-75 Rebel Transport and alternate paint job X-Wing seen escaping from Hoth In Episode V. The larger ships will be in a slightly smaller scale than the fighters.

Cool. Dark Forces is a cool game.

Those look awesome!! I have a few questions, how is the game structured? (i.e. is the base setup like the whizkids games, or do you have to roll dice?) and do they come in packs or do you have to get them seperate?

The game is a point based system. Your average game is 100 points per side but can be played with more or less points if you want. The cost for a pilot depends on how skilled he/she is. For example, the lowly Academy TIE pilot is only 12 points where Wedge Antilles costs 29 points. You can also equip your ships with various items and skills for the appropriate points cost. Special 8 sided dice are used in the game for combat and are provided in the Core Set. The Core Set contains 1 X-Wing and 2 TIE Fighters and all the materials to play a 30 point game. The other ships, including the X-Wing and TIE fighter, also come in individual packs with all the materials needed to use the ship.
Here's a tutorial on how the game is played:
