The Cloward-Piven Strategy of Orchestrated Crisis

<< < (2/3) > >>

DumbAss Tanker:
The flaw in the plan is that it assumes the Government must cleave strictly to those 'Liberal social ideals and Judeo-Christian ethos,' whereas in reality governments are adaptive organisms that will not go unresistingly into a state of collapse over entitlement programs they can change with the stroke of enough pens, and driving a benificent system anywhere near collapse is really far more likely to bring on a far less-generous, much more repressive environment than it is to bring about a proletarian Utopia.

FlaGator:
Who here, besides me, fears that Obama and his socialist handlers are attempting to apply the Cloward-Piven Strategy to the U.S. economy and bring about the Socialist/Communist utopia that they are desperate to implement. For those unfamiliar with the Cloward-Piven Strategy it is a method to force an economic collapse by overburdening the government with obligations it cannot afford to keep. The particular implementation of this strategy is get so many people on welfare that the system eventually collapses taking the rest of the economy with it.

I believe that all of Obama's actions are aimed at this goal. What is the evidence?

The Obama administration has put out advertising encouraging American's to sign up for the various forms of welfare that the Government offers. Continually extending unemployment benefits allows people to stay out of work longer and thus burden the system. Jobs that could have been created by making use of the natural energy sources found within our borders not only contribute to high unemployment numbers but further drives up the cost of living.

Obamacare subsidies in the form of tax credits remove potential income from the treasury. The coming bailout of the insurance industry when Obamacare fails to sign up enough people will take even more money from government coffers. Amnesty for the illegal immigrants currently living with our borders will, I think, finally push the system over the 'financial cliff' we have all heard so much about. I heard that the liberals desire amnesty to increase the numbers of lib voters but I think that the goal of amnesty is much loftier.

Obama talks about jobs but does nothing to create them. He does nothing to lower the burden of the national debt that we all live under. All Obama and his administration does is to further strain the Government’s ability to pay its bills.

What is Obama's solution? Print more money because that worked out so well for the Confederate States of America.

Please share your thoughts on this. Why are the libs unable to see the inevitable results of their desires? Do libs really thing money grows on trees and the Government is the master gardener of the money tree garden?

DefiantSix:
I think there's very little honest question that this is exactly the strategy they've been employing.

thundley4:
It's been talked about for several years that it is exactly what he is doing. Every thing he does is aimed at overloading the system to the point that higher taxes will be demanded by those depending on the government.

It will get to a point where taxing all workers 100% won't be enough to pay for the system. We may be at that point right now.
