We saw the latest fast and furious. My son and nephew wanted to see it.

Lots spectacular and unbelievable action. Their walky talkies worked over long distances and around the world. While such technology does exist, it usually doesn't work when they are in a tunnel. A walky talky with just its rubber duck antenna inside a car is usually not working well to begin with.

My family knows better than to take this engineer to the movies.
It takes a FAMILY to raise a child--Not Hitlery Klinton's Socialist, Anti-Family, Nanny-State...I mean, "Village".

Finally saw Guardians of the Galaxy, which was pretty good.

Watched Grease on Netflix which holds up well.

We watched GotG just because it fits in sort of with the other Marvel movies.  Not bad, but it wasn't quite as good as the others.

Yeah, good origin story but I like a lot of other Marvel movies and Agents of Shield better.

The writers for Agents of Shield do a fairly good job of tying in the movies now and then.

I watched this one on Netflix:

America: Imagine the World Without Her
2014 PG-13 1hr 44m

What would the world look like if America never existed? Author Dinesh D'Souza explores this fascinating, thought-provoking and stirring question.

I also watched the new Netflix Marvel series Daredevil.

I know this is about the last movie you watched; but I just wanted y'all to know how STOKED I am for the new Star Wars Movie. They just released trailer #2 today!!

Avengers:Age of Ultron is my next movie; and will probably get me back into the theaters after 5 or 6 years.

Han Solo looked old--like almost as old as Hillary.

I'm just glad Abrams ditched the shiny Vegas-esque look from the last three movies.

I watched An American Hippie in Israel last night.

This movie is from 1972 and yet it is the perfect model of Skin's Island.

If you enjoy bad movies, give this one a spin. IT was on TCM Underground this past weekend and anything I say could not do it justice. And if you hate bad movies with stilted acting, long scenes of nothing happening, and bizarre events that are never fully explained, you may not have much patience for this movie, but viewed as a cultural artifact, it is priceless.

Spoilers?:

Essentially, an American hippie from New York comes to Israel, meets a hot redhead, they meet other people, decide to go to an island to be "free," run into strange, pale faced men who are pursuing our American hippie all over the world, and there are face sharks (four years prior to Jaws!).

Real spoiler:

After most of the hippies are gunned down by the two pale-faced men, the four remaining ones drive (and drive and drive and drive) to an island, sit around eating canned food talking about how free they are, curse the world, have their little boat disappear, get attacked by obviously fake sharks, go to war with each other, and die. The end.

Must see!
