I'm putting this here because its too stupid to be serious.

Whether you know it or not, we run the world. Sometimes we hold positions of great power, other times we work behind the scenes. But rest assured, very little happens on this planet without our knowledge and control.

For nearly the last hundred years, through our various cartels, we have successfully controlled the world's money supply. In fact, any time we encounter a new land or enterprise, we work quickly to take over the issuance of "bills of credit". We don't know if we're allowed to do it, but it's worked out quite well in the past and very few complain. If it's so easy for us, then one may wonder why we're taking on the unnecessary challenge of minting silver into a private, voluntary barter currency. Good question! While we don't have a good answer, we guess that it's because none of our cronies has the merit to deserve a spot on a government issued piece of "legal tender". Also, there seems to be a competing economy developing that, for whatever reason, doesn't want to accept our green funny money.

Our friends don't produce much. Why would we? We can print FRNs whenever we like and buy what we need from the suckers that exchange hard work for paper! Problem is, people are catching on, and it's getting harder for us to conduct business as usual. We have a backup plan! We'll keep the price of silver low for a while, make new money, and stay in the game when the bubble bursts!
