Yeah, shocker. Anyone who cooperates with us to the extent that his life depends on our continuing presence in his country, and does not seek and gain asylum here (Which is virtually unobtainable if he isn't a member of an important voting block in the US, like Hispanics) is just plain ****ed. For basic structural reasons, the United States has an attention span limited to the length of any one President's tenure in office. Korea has been the sole exception to that in modern times, and several administrations have done their best to hose that one up too, but just didn't manage to succeed in time to destroy the Republic of Korea before it became too strong for the Norks to overcome.
