I received this in an email - how sad
« on: April 28, 2013, 03:54:55 PM »
I doubt that anyone here knows her, but I left out the lady's name to protect her identity.

How sad - she's a card-carrying conservative Republican in Texas.

Quote
I want to weep. We have an "adopted" granddaughter - the child of a friend of my son and his wife - who didn't have any grandparents and asked at age 6 if we would be her grandparents too as we were for our son's kids. Naturally we said yes and have treated her as one of our other 12 grandchildren all these years. Her mother is a nutcase (HUGE Obama supporter) and socialist who is too lazy to work and thinks it isn't "fair" because other people have more than she does. She and her daughter smoke pot together and the daughter sleeps with guys in her bedroom with her mother in the house and with her permission.

Anyway, this is what (name withheld) (the daughter) posted on her Facebook page today and commented "every word is true and I could not agree more":

"The American government disgusts me. Don't call MY people terrorists when YOU kill hundreds of Muslims and Arabs EVERY SINGLE DAY. A school in Pakistan was bombed the other day by American soldiers, 27 Iraqis were killed today at a café by American soldiers but did any of that show up on international TV? Why should the deaths of a few Americans mean SO much more than the MILLIONS of deaths that Americans have caused? U. S. gives 6.5 MILLION Dollars to Israel EVERY SINGLE DAY so they can MURDER innocent Palestinian civilians. Americans have killed 65 MILLION PEOPLE in the last 75 years due to war. Don't go into our countries and kill OUR families and then call us terrorists when we retaliate. Research your facts and then come tell me who the real terrorists are. American YOU are the terrorists...not us.

I didn't even bother to respond to this pack of lies. But she is 17 and it is scary that someone raised in this country could believe all this misinformation. THESE are the people who elected Obama. I weep for Phoenix and I weep for our country if SHE is representative of the next generation. I don't WANT to believe this is the way the majority of our young people think but if it is, then God help us.

Why won't the a-grandparents respond with some facts?

I assume a-grandparents means adoptive grandparents?

If so, I don't know. I'm not there. I probably wouldn't either; why lower yourself to the kid's level?

Thanks, Jeff.  This kid never stood a chance in life with the mother she had. No father......the mother (who was an alcoholic) decided she needed a baby to make her life perfect. So she slept with three Mexican busboys at the restaurant where she worked so she would not know which one was the father. With a start like that, is it any wonder she is so screwed up in life?

A 17 year old girl that they said they loved as if she was their own grandchild?

I don't believe in throwing in the towel I guess, not at that age anyway.
