keeping the bush tax policy in place certainly doesn't bother me, but has this guy done a single thing that he said he was going to do?

Obama to allow Bush tax cuts to expire on schedule

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - President Barack Obama will allow tax breaks given to wealthier Americans under his predecessor, George W. Bush, to expire as scheduled rather than eliminate them sooner, an administration official said on Saturday.

Obama, who promised during his White House campaign to roll back tax cuts on people earning more than $250,000, also plans to boost tax collections from about 16 percent of the economy this year to 19 percent in 2013, the official said, confirming a Washington Post report on Obama's budget proposals for the 2010 fiscal year.

I hope the republicans in the House fight him tooth and nail on this.

What the idiot voters don't realize is that the "95 percent of Americans get a tax cut" was based on what taxes WOULD be in 2010 when the Bush tax cuts expire, and that Zerobama's cuts won't go nearly as far as the 2001-03 cuts did.

Kinda like a furniture store which doubles the price of everything, then the next day starts a "25 percent off everything in the store" sale.  Either way, you're still getting screwed.
