I was downstairs reloading when I heard this on the radio. I made a note to check for it when I came upstairs. I didn't come up until 6:00 and forgot about it.  :mad:

What's she so offended by?  She states that this is her only source of income.  So, she has no regular job with a deductible paycheck, with this little business on the side.  Therefore, she said a stupid thing, about the $40 saving her business by allowing payment of the internet connection.  Self-employed do not get the $40. 

It was a stupid thing to say, and stupidity offends me.  It causes me great mental anguish to know how idiotic my fellow citizens are.  I'm depressed about it right now.

I would like to note that the best cover for your moles is to make a post along the lines of "Rush Limbaugh is a repulsive, lying windbag" (although most DUmbasses spell it lieing) or some such. It's short and Rush is certainly man enough to endure but since you do not have to actually prove how Rush is lying the little beasts will pant-hoot their approval and heap scads of street cred upon you.

What lies, exactly?  The only threat I've seen is to ensure that the IRS encourages you to pay your FAIR SHARE of the nation's revenues.  You own your own business, and can afford to donate $500 to politicians, so you must be 1%.

Couple questions here.

Can a screen name be libeled/slandered? Nading "Scarebaby" brings in over 2 million hits.

If the business in question is not filing quarterly taxes, then she maybe guilty of some sort of income tax evasion. If she's not filing her income, how will she be able to prove a loss of income as a result of what Rush said?
