Limbaugh's parade of error began this morning when the Obama Administration urged people to tweet messages about what a $40 payroll tax cut would mean to them. One reply was from a twitter account named Scarebaby: "$40 a month means I can pay my Internet bill and keep my tiny small business alive."

Limbaugh seized upon this statement as proof of a fraud:

The self-employed don't get it. If you are self-employed, you know it. This doesn't even apply to you. There is no payroll tax cut for the self-employed.


I emailed the contact email for Scarebaby on her website. She responded and identified herself as Holly Hertzel:

Holly, you gave $500 to politicians?  Thought you couldn't pay your internet bill?  Sounds pretty 1% to me.  $500!  That's a shitload of money, to me. 

I don't care if you got written up in the dailypus or not.  It wasn't a parade of errors on Rush's part.  You were the stupid one, and now all you can do is act all butthurt and victimized.  The rest of the country is laughing at you.  You are ignorant of what a payroll tax is.  Too stupid to live.

I do not know what she is complaining about. She probably had more activity on her crappy website over the last 48 hours than since it 1st went live. If anything, Rush should send her an invoice for the exposure she received.

This is how liberals work, they scream foul at the part where Limbaugh said she can't be a real person but don't address the basic lie when she said that she gets the $40 "tax break" (by the way you stupid people, how are you going to make up the $40 a month that should be going towards your SS?).  Either she is a total idiot who doesn't know what she pays to the government or she is lying.

Also DUmmies, Obama and the dems only wanted to give you two months of this shell game, which is what ended up happinging . The two months arent even over yet and now they want to give you more. Who do you think is playing politics with this fake "tax break"?  You people are sheeple.

I totally appreciate all the support I've gotten here, on facebook, twitter, and at Daily Kos.

I'm in the process of working up an open letter to Rush Limbaugh that I will post here when it's done.

In the meantime, I made the mistake of visiting some "conservative" forums that were posting about me today, and the level of vitriol is completely off the charts. What an indication of the intelligence, compassion and critical thinking of the dittoheads!!!!!!

BTW - the name Scarebaby, despite what Rush would tell you, came out of my love for the movie "It's a Wonderful Life". If you google the script you will see that George Bailey calls his little brother a "scare-baby". That word always stuck in my head, and when I decided to start a business, I wanted a name that would be memorable, and just thisside of nonsensical (like google, yahoo, etc). Rush went to all kinds of convoluted twists to try to make it sound as though the name had something to do with abortion. What a pear shaped loser.
