I got fired for having a bad attitude today.
That's okay. They will have to pay unemployment. In my state they can fire you for any reason they want but one has to do something really bad to not get unemployment

11. This was a crap job too.
They weren't treating me very good in the 1st place. They know I'm undergoing treatment for Hep C and that I cannot possibly function that same as when I was healthy. I think this was a excuse for getting rid of me.

One person does have some sensible advice but mostly it is 'evil employers done me wrong'.

Cobalt Violet may be in for a little suprise because most states also give an employer an out in paying unemployment if the employee violated some specific company policy.

Something tells me 'bad attitude' is actually code word for their bosses for calls in a lot, comes in late, and has constant BDS while taking care of customers, even after being told to leave political beliefs at home.

"Bad attitude" could mean many things. From sassing off to the person's bosses, to just being lackadaisical on the job.... I'd like to know what the DUmmy did for a living though.

How long ago? That was a stupid, stupid move. You now can't get a reference and there will be a hole in your resume. And I have learned ALL business communities are small.
If you want to keep your integrity, quit if your boss is the top of the chain, or go over his head and report what immirall/illegal acts he is doing. Even if you don't keep your job you have a decent reference.
A little pop off like that can follow you for a long, long time.

If she got fired for being sick, as she says, then that's wrong. But if she got fired for being lazy, BDS and crazy political talk all the freaking time, then that's what you get.

Small businesses can't afford to carry sick people, nor is paid sick leave a mandatory benefit.
