I was just talking to a member here named sybilll and she said she heard Rasmussen at RightOnLine tonight say that voter registration will be a huge focus, as 33 million people that lean Conservative are not registered to vote, seriously? how the heck do you get to people like this?
Thanks Bally, Scott Rasmussen's address was blacked out, but I gathered from a friend who was tweeting from there that his news was depressing about the prospects of defeating Obama because essentially people like the idea of smaller government, but not forfeiting the government monies (EIC, etc) to which they've become reliant upon. But he did say that yes, there are 33 million people that lean Conservative, but are not registered, and of those, more than 5 million have actually donated money to conservative candidates/causes.
Both myself (physical limitations and all), and God love her, my 79 y/o mother, will be spending our spare time this summer and fall working voter registration booths at prime selected locations. I'm in TN which is not really a swing state, so if necessary, I will travel to either MO or OH. Apologies in advance if I harp on asking for you to do the same, but I likely will.
ETA: I would contact either Americans For Prosperity or Freedom Works if your local GOP office is not pro-active enough about voter registration.
