Had to leave hospital waiting room because staff were bashing Obama
Hi, I don't post very often but am so upset right now that I needed to let off a little steam. My husband is in the middle of surgery right now and I was waiting in the hospital surgery waiting room. A couple of volunteers and staff were standing up front and bashing Obama in very loud voices. One man announced he was a military man and thought that Obama was a communist. A couple of others talked about him allowing babies born alive during an abortion to be left to die. Among other very hateful things. I finally got so upset that I had to tell them that not all hold their beliefs and that they should watch what they say. I left the room and am now sitting in the hospital cafeteria and wondering why people even if they don't like Obama have to spew such hateful lies. I'm so happy not to be a part of such a mean party. Sorry if this post is just a rant and not news.

Thank God her priorities are straight...

She got mad when they asked if her husband had health insurance .....things went downhill rapidly after that.

I think her hubby is just playing a little trick on her.  He probably got with the volunteers and staff before he went under the knife and said "Hey, while I'm in surgery, here's some fun you can have....."

Communist? Check. Allowing babies born alive to die? Check.

Nope, not a single lie in any of their statements.
Never demand that which you are incapable of taking by force, DUmmie.

Beat me to it.  Why they get upset when the truth is spoken to with power .... I'll never understand.   :whatever:

Their love for Obama is paramount to anyone or anything else.

Gosh, perhaps those skilled medical professionals sense they might be in the same boat as Joe if The One gets elected, and aren't real keen on it...especially that leg of the Obama medical care plan that involves shipping off docs and nurses to 'underserved' areas...

These people live in a different universe than I do. I've NEVER overheard any kind of loud political conversation at a doctor's office or hospital, especially the staff. Those I've encountered are very professional.

Of course, you will never, ever, ever hear a political discussion in a doctor's office or a hospital. To a normal person, it's inconceivable, but on the 0.0001% chance that there is even a shred of truth in this post:

I work in a hospital, and I've heard a total of 3 political discussions.  One took place in my office, one in our shop, and one in the hallway nearby...all places far from patients, family or visitors.  I have never, ever, in all my working around the rest of the building, heard staff having a loud political discussion.  Ever.  If people want to discuss things, they go in their lounge or break room - and every department has one.

Now, she may well have overheard a discussion, but I'd bet anything that it wasn't medical personnel speaking.  We have no control over the discussions of visitors and family...and no intention of trying to obtain control.   :-)
