If Rockhead really meant what he wrote, he would be making the case that these platforms shouldn’t be removing videos that are considered by the company to be false and/or inaccurate information. That would be considered defending the first amendment, especially since these platforms have become the new public square. But note that he would approve of these same platforms censoring opinions he does not like under the guise of “private ownership”, a viewpoint that would have gotten a member booted off the island just a few years ago.
What goes unmentioned is that Facebook is dead among young people. They have flocked to Instagram, Snapchat and Tic Tok.
