New York City legislation allowing certain noncitizens to vote becomes law

And this is why we can't have nice things. Adding 1,000,000 noncitizens to the voting rolls. What could possibly go wrong?

DLR Pyro:
New York city can cock up their local city elections with non citizen votes if they want,  but they should lose the right to participate in any federal election where these non citizen's votes will have an impact on all citizens in the country

Agreed, and you know that’s where they’re going.

The only thing that will stop that is when they realize the non-citizens are voting for conservatives more than liberals THEN they’ll throw on the brakes.
