I just signed up here. I'm from SC, land of the best fried chicken, sweet tea & biscuits. The best, but not good for you... :(
I'm one of those right wingers, but believe in a respectful discussion & no inflammatory remarks; most important with topics involving religion & politics. I'm certainly not here to change anyone's mind. Just looking for a voice as, in my opinion, America moves further left.
Always an Independent, I'm sad to see the liberalization of the republican party, as evidenced by many Congressional leaders & those running in the '16 elections. Accepting what cannot be changed in my lifetime has provided me a measure of peace, but I still like to talk about it!

I have been absent for a while.... But upon my return, I still find it strange. Wonderful is up to the eye of the beholder. LOL.
I must say though that there weren't as many posts to the "Boob of the Day" thread as I expected during my absence. I still see a lot of familiar names posting here.

Old saying from "The Nam" "every one knows there is sex amongst water buffalo but, nobody gives a s***". Everybody pretty much ignores reputation unless you bring it up. Then, heed Big Dog's advice.
Also, welcome seems like you will fit right in.

I know I have strong opinions, & that does put people off, but I try to do so respectibly.

You're doing fine -- I have been BS's many times and I know I am one of the most honorable people ever to tread on this board. By rights I should never have a negative buth what the heck do these people know? (I see probably 10 or 20 of them coming up in the next few minutes lol) :)
Your foot is fine -- please enjoy our board and do not hesitate to share your opinions -- we appreciate them to be strong so long as they are supported by facts and argumentation.

On another board there was a tendency for name calling & nasty insults; especially when I challenged anthropogenic global warming, or criticized the King & Queen.
I can handle the minuses, for sure, as long as I don't get kicked off the board.

As far as statements being supported by facts, I sometimes don't do such a good job. I need to remember to differentiate between opinion & fact. Put it this way, I'd flunk journalism 101.
