An Illinois man convicted of killing five people in what is known as the 'pine village massacre' made his new residence near an elementary school - prompting the district to send a warning letter to parents and the community.
Carl Reimann, 77, was released from prison on Thursday after serving more than 45 years for the 1972 deaths of David Gardner, 35; Bob Loftus, 48; John Wilson, 48; Catherine Rekate, 16; and George Pashade, 75.
Reimann was convicted of murder after police said he walked into an Illinois restaurant in 1972 and fatally shot two customers and three employees after emptying the cash register.
It is in leftist Illinois. No surprise there!

Should have been "released" to a crematorium.

In Illinois, he probably qualifies for a state job.
