The Masquerade of Lies

We have to uncover the lies that masquerade as the truth.

It's like the race between the tortoise and the hare. We think if we keep slogging along, eventually we will cross the finish line ahead of all the falsehoods.

What is the truth?

Is it whatever we want to believe? Is it what the majority say it is? Does it have to correlate with the facts and reality?

Lincoln is reported to have said that you can fool some of the people all of the time, and all of the people some of the time, but you can't fool all of the people all of the time.

That seems to be the predicament we find ourselves in?

Simple lies such as, "This is the largest crowd ever to witness an Inaugural Address". It's a lie but who does it hurt?

Once these liars are caught in a lie, there is always an explanation. There is never a confession.

"Well, what he was talking about was the number of people around the world, on Facebook and social media, when we count all those people, it was the largest crowd ever".

Does it matter?

Then we get into lies about life and death. War and peace.

We cannot ignore the lies.

You and fellow DUmp friends ignore lies all the time.

"This is the largest crowd ever to witness an Inaugural Address"

Maybe a bit of an exaggeration, but better than the doctoring the MSM did to try and "prove" that no one attended.
