Nonetheless, the stunning revelation of an unreported positive test follows a year of speculation about whether Trump, then 74 years old, had the potentially deadly virus when he faced Biden, 77, in Cleveland on 29 September – and what danger that might have presented.

The rapid antigen (15-20 minutes) tests have a relatively high (several percent, not several 10s of percent) false positive and false negative rate. That would have been known at the time (September 2020), and Trump would have been thus advised (if he didn't already know it). The possibility that the "positive" might have been a false positive might have been the reason Trump was tested again just 3 days later. Or maybe it was the day before or of the debate.

mal's point was that Trump had not taken Covid seriously (the ludicrous standard Prog narrative) and endangered LIEden by being 10 or 30 feet away from LIEden. The article she quoted, ummmm, complicates her point by mentioning that Trump tested negative "shortly after" the positive.

mal and many other DUmmies are just POed Trump recovered from Covid (and the Regeneron mab treatment Trump received also helped reduce deaths this summer in Bogey-State Florida, :argh: ! :rotf:  :tongue: ).

Let's say this is accurate.  What was the result?  Did SloJoe or anyone at the debate come down with or even test positive for the Kung-Flu?  To my knowledge, the answer to both is no (if I'm wrong, please let me know).  Logically, that means a couple of things.  One, one of the tests was wrong.  Two, the kung-flu doesn't just spread like wildfire to anyone and everyone that is close to it, nor does it slay everyone who comes close to it.  Too bad the DUmp can't contemplate such logic.
